Privacy

Tupos MPE instruments do not collect personal data. This page explains what that means.

Who we are

The instruments

Every Tupos MPE instrument works without a network connection. They do not create accounts, do not use analytics or crash-reporting services, contain no advertising or tracking libraries, and never transmit anything you play, record or configure. If you choose an external link, the app hands its address to the operating system to open in the App Store or your browser.

Settings you change — interface scale, MIDI channel, MIDI Learn assignments and expression input configuration — are written to a folder on your own device and never leave it. Presets you save are files on your device and remain there until you delete them or the operating system removes the app data.

What Apple sees

Purchases and downloads are handled by Apple under Apple’s own privacy policy. Depending on your device privacy settings, Apple may make diagnostic information available to developers through App Store Connect. Tupos MPE instruments contain no separate analytics or crash-reporting service.

This website

We run no website analytics. Standard server logs may record IP addresses briefly for security and reliability.

The homepage includes a YouTube video using its privacy-enhanced player. Loading or interacting with the player connects to YouTube, which processes information under Google’s privacy policy.

Your rights

We hold nothing about App Store customers. If you have emailed support, we hold that email — ask and it goes: support@tuposaudio.com. You can also complain to the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman.
